Turbine Condensate Recovery

Removal of suspended solids (iron scale, precipitates, impurities) from the recovered turbine condensate is mandatory in power stations. With our special backwashable filters (gas-bump cartridge filters) we can provide a well proven, efficient, reliable technology, developed 100% in-house.

Suspect Oily Condensate Treatment

Returned condensate from steam heaters may be accidentally contaminated with oil due to leakage in heat exchanger equipment. Our unique double step resin coalescer is a technology specifically intended for this purpose. Sometimes the combination of activated carbon filters with resin coalescers can be the most appropriate technologies for this type of condensate treatment.

Condensate Polishing Units (CPU)

The removal of silica and the reduction of the hardness of the condensate prior to being fed back into the steam boiler is a mandatory treatment process for any boiler plant. Unidro’s experience with mixed bed polishers is outstanding complimented with an extensive reference list. We have built condensate polishing units capable of treating over 1,000 m³/hr in a single unit. We have built CPUs for many major players in the oil and gas market sector. External regeneration for high pressure condensate treatment is also available.

Condensate Degassing with Thermal Deaerator

The removal of oxygen and carbon dioxide is normally necessary prior to feeding high pressure boilers. This is obtained with thermal deaerators where the condensate stream is stripped of carbon dioxide and oxygen with hot steam. Unidro takes complete ownership of the solution by designing and fabricating thermal deaerators in-house.
